It is raining more in Tamil Nadu this year than usual. The Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rains in coastal districts, including Chennai, as the government is repairing damage caused by previous heavy rains
Heavy rain warning has been issued for various districts including Chennai for the next 5 days from tomorrow. In particular, it has been warned that the impact of the rains will be slightly higher from November 25 to November 27.
Chennai may receive heavy rainfall over the next 48 hours. The formation of the low pressure area has been delayed as it was announced today that a low pressure area would form in the Bay of Bengal. The Meteorological Department predicts that a low pressure area will form by tomorrow.
In this situation, an orange alert has been issued for the whole of Tamil Nadu for the next 3 days. Particularly in Kanchipuram, Chengalpattu, Tiruvallur, Chennai, Nellai and Ramanathapuram. A low pressure area is forecast to form in the Bay of Bengal by tonight.
