Hi, Buddies,

Feels good to catch you guys after a short break with another new blog post, which would be of little help for summer wedding occasions.

Indians are very sensitive about certain colors not being worn for traditional occasions. During wedding occasions, everyone is dressed immaculately in fine traditional and ethnic wear. Every girl/woman looks gorgeous in Traditional wear.

Here I wore a silk cotton saree. Silk/Cotton fabric is a blend of hybrid fibers, combining genuine characteristics of each into a single textile. Silk cotton fabric is natural fibers with high - quality of strength, lightweight, silky, and it has a soft hand feel and a sturdy.

Here I wore a silk cotton saree that has simple designs checked and strikes with yellow color and edge of the saree looks like zari pattu. The saree has Beautiful borders and patterns. During the summer season when we attend a wedding ceremony it is easy to wear and is very comfortable and airy. Silk fabric adds to the richness of the saree and cotton keeps you cool.

The saree's actual color was pink and yellow but in a photoshoot, it showed like red color. The fabric can be adorned on any occasion and can give the wearer a sophisticated and elegant look.

The hybrid variety can be embellished in all weathers. The combination of the hybrid fibers, cotton, and silk, which are best suited for both summer and winter respectively. The cot silk ideal for all weather. But mostly I aggrandize silk cotton is very comfortable for summer occasions.

Chunky Jewelry would go well with this silk cotton saree, you can wear any kind of jewelry right from small rings to a huge piece of earrings and, it would still work well with the overall look.

Here I matched with accessories of simple gold neckwear(Gold Choker)and dollar chain which I bought from AVR Swarna mahal, My childhood to till now whatever traditional Jewell's we prefer to buy AVR from my Salem Hometown. And Earring is not gold, I bought it from Saravana stores. Then matched with yellow and pink silk thread bangles whose border I matched with golden color bangles.

While wearing traditional saree platted hairstyle and jasmine flowers gives elegant look & Attractive.

About Blouse designs:  Blouse piece bought from local shops. Blouse color is matched with the saree zari border. Stitched as a simple buff sleeve with a back hook of princes cut designs.

HISTORY OF SILK COTTON SAREE:

“Origin of silk cotton” First recorded in 1690 - 1700. During the 1800s, attempts were being made on developing hybrid fibers. Therefore, manufactures intended to use the genuine of every fiber in nature and do mix and match to create a new fiber. After years of work into this field, a few hybrid fibers were created of which cot silk became the most popular.

Cot silk is a combination of two widely used fibers - Cotton and silk. This hybrid fabric has been accepted widely across the world. It is definitely a cheaper version of silk but, a more popular fabric than pure Silk itself.
