HISTORY OF HAND-LOOM SAREE:
A hand-loom saree is a great cultural significance of youths, It was the traditional textile art of Bangladesh and India. Only unique sarees are being created in the hand-loom industry and the uniqueness can be easily reflected from the exotic designs that are being created.
The hand-loom was derived about 2000 years ago and was bought to England by the Romans, the process consisted of interweaving one set of threads or yarn (the wrap) with another (the weft).
The WRAP threads are stretched lengthwise in the weaving loom,
The WEFT, the cross-threads, are woven into the wrap to make the cloth.
